About the Artist:
Thomas Walsh, a self-taught artist, is a Florida native residing and working in Fort Walton Beach. He is well-known along the Gulf Coast for his works using mixed multimedia along with power carving. His current sculptured works reflect coastal themed wildlife, carved and painted, utilizing locally reclaimed and salvaged materials. Hidden details in wood grain fascinate and inspire life within him and his pieces. Thomas’ pieces have been described as salty, textural, granular, unique and delightfully quirky.
